The first thing we do is to gather any existing assets you may have that are linked to your projects, like 3D models, documents, 2D blueprints, or visual references.
At this stage, we figure out what tools, tech stack, platform, or SDK we’ll use moving forward. Choosing the right tools from a technical point of view can make or break a project’s viability in the long run.
At this stage, we are ready to start working on the overall design of your project.
The exact design process will differ depending on the type of augmented reality project you want to build. But in general, we’ll have to design the UI and the 3D assets based on the references you gave us in the previous step.
Regarding the UI design, we will design each “view” or “frame” that composes the AR experience. Also, we will connect the different views so you’ll have a good overview of the final user experience.
Lastly, if required, our 3D artists will get to work and design every AR-ready 3D asset using a modeling software like Maya or Blender.
