Wakanda Forever Hologram – WebAR
Actively Black partnered with the movie Wakanda Forever in a historic commercial deal. They built three new collections dedicated to the movie: Wakanda Athletics Classic Collection, Wakanda Athletics Performance Collection, and Movie Merch Collection.
To raise brand awareness for those three new clothing collections, Actively Black wanted to build a WebAR experience accessible via a simple web link where users could see two characters wearing the clothes from the featured clothing collections walk forward while a 3D logo animates.
The WebAR experience consists of 2 animated characters showcasing the new clothes and a 3D animated logo. We also added a 2D call-to-action button that opens up the collection’s landing page to increase conversion.
The WebAR experience was built using 8thwall, and A-frame.
