You’ll need to schedule an introductory call with one of our VR experts to get that estimate. He will take your contact information and review your project with you. During the call with our expert, you’ll also be able to get answers to any questions about the development process.
Once we finish the call, we’ll take our giant calculator and crunch the numbers to generate a rough cost and time estimate. Then finally, we will send the estimate by email in the upcoming days. We always try to send it over within 48 hours, but it may take longer, depending on our workload.

This step is vital since it will determine the best course of action to take for a successful virtual reality project.
The first thing we do is to gather any existing assets you may have that are linked to your projects, like 3D models, documents, 2D blueprints, or visual references.
At this stage, we figure out what tools, tech stack, platform, or SDK we’ll use moving forward.
Choosing the right tools from a technical point of view can make or break a project’s viability in the long run.
At this stage, we are ready to start working on the overall design of your project.
The exact design process will differ depending on the type of virtual reality project you want to build. But in general, we’ll have to design the UI and the 3D assets based on the references you gave us in the previous step.
Regarding the UI design, we will design each “view” or “frame” that composes the VR experience. Also, we will connect the different views so you’ll have a good overview of the final user experience.
Lastly, if required, our 3D artists will get to work and design every VR-ready 3D asset using a modeling software like Maya or Blender.
This is the most crucial stage in the development process. At this point, our VR developers are starting to work on the core infrastructure that makes up your virtual reality experience.

Even though you might want to publish your app immediately, your virtual reality experience must undergo a testing phase to ensure a bug-free user experience.
At Upreal, we execute several rigorous tests before safely releasing your virtual reality experience to the public. For example, we test WebVR experiences on different browsers since each browser can act differently.
Once we’ve tested the experience properly, we’ll take care of publishing your experience on the platform of your choice.
